THE BATTLE IS THE LORD’S

I find this song so encouraging! — ‘Warrior of Heaven’.
In one of my posts, somewhere, I recall sharing a list of songs that are close to my heart- my core songs.
These are songs I fall on at those low times; which I’m sure we all have from time to time. They encourage me greatly in the Lord.

‘Warrior of Heaven’ is officially one of those songs now.
Just listen to the words of this beautiful song.🥹

Confidence in the great God of Ages! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Amen and amen!!!

The battle is in the mind.
This is something I used to say; but when I was having my own battle and failing horribly 😬, these were words I hated to hear.

The battlefield is indeed in the mind.

That’s why I love this passage.

2 Corinthians 10:4-5 NIV – The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.

5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ

We need to win this battle.
We can’t do this on our own – but with God all things are possible.

I can never for once beat my chest and boast that I don’t sometimes have low days, where I can practically sense if I’m not careful I’ll fall into that horrible pit once again BUT I know whom I have believed and I ran to Him.
I fix my eyes on Jesus else, I will sink.
The scene of Peter walking on the water while he fixed his eyes on Jesus is never too far from my mind.

That’s the way we stay afloat and we shall continue to stay afloat in the precious name of Jesus Christ.
‘I get backing!’ (my official war song 😆)
Jesus Christ is my Anchor, my Firm Foundation, the Good Shepherd, the Lover of my soul!

Indeed
He will win the battle
I don’t have to fight
Jesus Christ the Champion
Is standing by my side!

Saying that God will fight our battles, I found means that we do not have to anguish, be anxious, or be discouraged when bad things happen in our lives.
Why?
Because no problem is beyond the scope of Gods sovereign care for His children. He has promised to take care of us (Philippians 4:19), make good plans for us (Jeremiah 29:11), and love us beyond measure (Romans 8:37-39).

God bless you!
