NO ONE

Carol Clegg-Lamptey

I wonder what comes to mind when you see these words (which I almost called a phrase but will quickly correct myself and call an indefinite pronoun πŸ˜…πŸ€¦πŸ½β€β™€οΈ)
For me, a number of songs do.
I fondly remember one by AndraΓ© Crouch, which I will share.

No one.πŸ€”
Not a single person, or not a single member of a particular group or set.

THERE IS NO ONE LIKE OUR GOD!

The Ancient of Days, the I AM THAT I AM, the Awesome God, the Never Changing God.
Change happens to us each and every day in this unpredictable world. But, we have a God who never changes and that should comfort and give us hope as believers!

I find myself humming this song:
Ancient of Days, as old You are
You remain the same!

Lets read:

Exodus 15:11 NIV –Β  Who among the gods is like you, LORD?
Who is like youβ€” majestic in holiness,
awesome in glory, working wonders?

Isaiah 43:10-13 NIV –Β  β€œYou are my witnesses, ” declares the LORD,
β€œand my servant whom I have chosen,
so that you may know and believe me
and understand that I am he.
Before me no god was formed,
nor will there be one after me.

11 I, even I, am the LORD,
and apart from me there is no saviour.

12 I have revealed and saved and proclaimedβ€”
I, and not some foreign god among you.
You are my witnesses, ” declares the LORD, β€œthat I am God.
13 Yes, and from ancient days I am he.
No one can deliver out of my hand.
When I act, who can reverse it?”

James 1:17 NIV –
Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.

When you look over your life, I’m sure you can see how God has been faithful.
Is life perfect for any of us. No!
Everybody’s got problems.
BUT GOD!
As for perfection on this earth, it was thrown out of the window when Adam and Eve disobeyed God, but even then, there was a BUT GOD moment.

BUT GOD moments signify God’s mercy, deliverance and strength in adversity.
This term captures the nature of our God. He redeems, resurrects, and makes ALL THINGS new. We need to be willing participants though.
When we surrender to God, we relinquish our own desire, plans and control in order to embrace God’s perfect purposes for our lives.
Have you surrendered some or all of your life to God?? He wants ALL of you!

God bless you. πŸ€—

I pray you each have a wonderful week, keep your head up and your eyes fixed on Jesus.
God Dey,..so we too,..we dey!
