MONGYAE ME!

Carol Clegg-Lamptey

Interesting title huh?
I think so 😁.  As He leads, we follow. 🤓

This title is inspired by Team Eternity Ghana and their hit song Defe Defe. 😍
I’ve loved them for some years now and I’m so happy about their success.
All glory to God! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

So ‘mongyae me’ is a phrase in the Akan language which can be translated as ‘ leave me alone’ or ‘allow me’.
Allow me to do what?
This is the question of the day! 😅

My answer – Allow me to praise and worship my God!
One thing my Pastor said to me that I’ll never forget is this : people will never understand your praise until they know your pain.

When I look back on my life and see what God has done for me,..I cannot help but praise and worship and dance to His glory.
He saved me from myself. I could easily have ended my own life. BUT GOD!
Is my life perfect now??
That’s even laughable! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Far from it, BUT GOD!

His grace is sufficient.
His mercies are new every morning!
His faithfulness is forevermore.
He keeps His promises.
He is always at work.
He always provides a way out in the temptations of this life.
He is not a man to lie nor a son of man to change His mind.
He loves me with an everlasting love.
He sent His only begotten Son to die for my sins, once for all.
He loved me when I was yet a sinner.
His love is boundless – as high as the heavens are above the earth.
I cannot even comprehend the length, breadth, height or depth of this amazing love.
HE WORKS AAAAAALL THINGS FOR MY GOOD!

Now tell me,..should I, we, not praise this our God??
He is worthy of it all!
We leave our burdens at the altar and worship Him, for He alone is God, inspite of whatever may be going on in our lives.
He sees us, after all; just as He saw Hagar in the desert, my brother, my sister, God sees you too. El-Roi!
😄🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

2 Samuel 6:12-15 NIV – Now King David was told, “The LORD has blessed the household of Obed-Edom and everything he has, because of the ark of God.” So David went to bring up the ark of God from the house of Obed-Edom to the City of David with rejoicing.

13 When those who were carrying the ark of the LORD had taken six steps, he sacrificed a bull and a fattened calf. 14 Wearing a linen ephod, David was dancing before the LORD with all his might, 15 while he and all Israel were bringing up the ark of the LORD with shouts and the sound of trumpets

Even David danced with all His might.
A King! Then you and me 😅???
💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

Let nothing hold you back from praising or worshipping God. He is worthy of it all and it all belongs to Him! Amen and amen!

God bless you!
