Someone says I’ve come back from leave refreshed and energized.
Yes oo.
My leave was a time of refreshing.
Was it perfect?
Certainly not.
I actually shed some tears.

I had the blessing of spending time with a loooovely family. Talk about hospitality!

What is Joy???
I know I shared earlier on the difference between joy and happiness.
Let me add on a bit more from the good old internet, about joy from the Biblical perspective.
1. It’s a lasting emotion that comes from the choice to trust that God will fulfill his promises.
2. Joy is the settled assurance that God is in control of all the details of my life, the quiet confidence that ultimately everything is going to be alright and the determined choice to praise God in every situation.
3. The joy of The Lord, which is the gladness of heart comes from knowing God, abiding in Christ, and being filled with the Holy Spirit.
So it’s Joy!!!
Will there be ups and downs?
Certainly
BUT GOD!!! 🙌🏽🙌🏽
Joy is part of the fruit of the Spirit.
Galatians 5:22-23 NIV
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
May we all abide in the joy of our Lord.
