GREAT IS THY FAITHFULNESS

This life.
Just as I was about to start writing, I learnt that a Ghanaian fashion designer had passed on; and on February the14th!
Lord, once again we plead with you : Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom!

The Bible describes us like grass : here today, gone tomorrow. Psalm 103:15
There is a “but” in the verse that follows:

Psalm 103:17 NIV –
But from everlasting to everlasting
the LORD’s love is with those who fear him,
and his righteousness with their children’s children—

The BUT GOD!

God is faithful.
That’s one of the many things I love about this our God.

Hebrews 13:5-6 NIV –
Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said,
“Never will I leave you;
never will I forsake you.”

6 So we say with confidence,

“The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me?”

Even if all fall away,..my God will never leave me nor forsake me.

I’m holding on to Him oooh,..this our God.

My friends may forsake me, forget me, betray me, but this God; nooooo way!

2 Timothy 2:13 NIV –

if we are faithless,
he remains faithful,
for he cannot disown himself.

God cannot deny Himself!
He cannot go contrary to His word.
God remains faithful!!!

So we plod on in this life.
People come, people go, BUT GOD REMAINS TRUE!

That excites me!

My God is all I need. Yes, He works through people around me, but ultimately it’s all Him!

Let’s ponder on the words of this hymn I love so so much:

Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father
There is no shadow of turning with Thee
Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not
As Thou hast been, Thou forever will be

Great is Thy faithfulness
Morning by morning new mercies I see
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me.
