Firm Foundation

The day I wasn’t sure would ever come. The day my blog would launch.
This has been my desire since last year.
He makes all things beautiful in His time.

This song is my testimony Tobechukwu – for He has done it for me.

‘Firm foundation‘ was one of the first songs I found in my quest to enlarge my library of gospel songs.
I looooove music.

After having come out of a 6 month depression,..these words especially spoke to me.

I’ve still got joy in chaos
I’ve got peace that makes no sense
I won’t be going under
I’m not held by my own strength
‘Cause I’ve built my life on Jesus
He’s never let me down
He’s faithful through every season
So why would He fail now

Little did I know that some months down the line,..i would have a second episode,.longer and worse than the first.

BUT GOD!!!!!

I stand now,..a very different person,..I’ve been at the lowest of low so I have such an appreciation for life,..for peace of mind; for joy! 💃💃💃💃💃

Why is a foundation so important??

Christ is my firm foundation; can i be moved? Not at alll.
Unless I cease to make Him my foundation.

My mind goes back to when my parents were building and we had these trips to the site.
You can imagine my disappointment when week after week,..all I saw was cement in the ground; boy did it go deep.

But guess what,..they were ensuring that the house had a solid foundation.
So praise God for that foundation – eno be joke. Take it from me! 🤣🤣🤣

Matthew 7:24-27 NLT

Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock.
25 Though the rain comes in torrents and the floodwaters rise and the winds beat against that house, it won’t collapse because it is built on bedrock.
26 But anyone who hears my teaching and doesn’t obey it is foolish, like a person who builds a house on sand.
27 When the rains and floods come and the winds beat against that house, it will collapse with a mighty crash.”

Who are you building your life on.
As for me
Jesus is the Rock of my salvation.
His banner over me is love.

He is the solid rock on which we stand; alllll other ground is sinking sand.
