CHRIST, THE SOLID ROCK

My hope is built on nothing less

It’s so encouraging.

Are all rocks not solid? 🫣
No one should come and beat me oooh,.. just thinking aloud here😆 😅😇

I found something interesting.
So by definition, a rock is a solid collection of minerals, and each element and hence compound within it has precise melting and boiling temperatures that are proportional to pressure.

Now to this question; are all rocks hard, the answer is no.
Soft rocks as I’m sure we’ve all encountered, do exist.

Christ is the solid Rock.
This means (as I found out), that Jesus is resilient to any kind of storm in our lives.
In His presence, we can be at peace and assured.
Whatever comes our way, we can always trust in the love, hope, and enduring rock of Jesus.

Why do we as humans try to place all our hopes on anything or anyone else??
They can and will fail us.
BUT GOD!!!

That’s why Jesus is the lover of my soul ooo.
No one else can be.
HE ALONE!!!!! 😍😍😍

Psalm 62:5-8 NIV – Yes, my soul, find rest in God;
my hope comes from him.

6 Truly he is my rock and my salvation;
he is my fortress, I will not be shaken.

7 My salvation and my honor depend on God;
he is my mighty rock, my refuge.

8 Trust in him at all times, you people;

for God is our refuge.

Psalm 18:2 NIV –
The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer;
my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

Some trust in chariots, some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.
