A Classic Case of Romans 8:28

Carol Clegg-Lamptey

I’m sure you’ve all come across this verse in Scripture.
The question is,..do you believe it??🤔

Romans 8:28 NIV
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

So what are some of the key words in this verse?
1. And we know
For me..this means we must be certain of this fact.

2. God works for good
God is allllways at work even when we think He isn’t.

3. For those who love Him
Meaning this promise is not just for anyone,..but for those who love God
And how do we know that we love God??

1 John 5:2-3 NIV –
This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands.
3 In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands.
And his commands are not burdensome.

I’m sure we’ve all had some classic examples of this in our lives.

Mine was pretty simple.
I couldn’t find my lens cleaner and had gotten a pair of new red 😉 glasses; I wanted them in tip top shape.
I had looked everywhere and had given up finding it.
As I was arranging my stuff, my charging cord fell at the side of my side table.
I rolled 🙄 my eyes and proceeded to pick my cord.
Guess what else I found? 😅
My lens cleaner!
💃💃💃💃

You may not know what God is doing and how your current circumstance can be worked out for good; just trust that He will do as His word says .
And even if, we don’t see the good in our lifetime,..be assured that someone in the future will surely see the good.

So as always,.. remember.
That God dey!!!!
😊

I’d love to hear from you.
