Happy new month everyone!
September is a special month!
The number 9 is said to be the number of completion and by God’s grace, the Naa Lamiokor blog was launched a year ago on the 3rd of September, 2023.
Hip hip hoooooray!!!!!!!
Thus far by grace!
We leave the future in God’s able hands.
Please find below the blog that didn’t make it last Friday.
It’s been a minute. Well, not really
I saw a phrase that I had written a few days ago after doing my devotion and the words were – “God, shape my life”.
I remember that this hymn came to mind at the time and it came again as I put this down.
Fill thou my life, O Lord my God,
in ev’ry part with praise,
that my whole being may proclaim
Thy being and Thy ways.
This song just popped in my head too
Spirit of the living God,
Fall afresh on me.
Melt me, mould me, fill me, use me.
Spirit of the living God,
Fall afresh on me.
And this indeed is my prayer – to be filled, moulded and used. I’m not too excited about the melting part.
All I can say is Lord, have your way.
The Potter and the clay.
Isaiah 64:8 NIV – Yet you, LORD, are our Father.
We are the clay, you are the potter;
we are all the work of your hand.
The potter takes a lump of clay and moulds it into something of worth. It’s a painstaking process, but the final product makes it so worth it.
The vessels created come in different shapes and sizes, but each is important and has a purpose. The vessel may not be aware of what it’s being moulded into, but oh, the potter is so very much aware.
I pray that as God continues to mould us, we surrender to Him wholeheartedly and to the process. We really couldn’t be in better hands.
God bless you!
