This question makes so many things run through my mind – at least two songs and one hymn, among others. 😅
But really, what’s your story?
If you were to sum up your life in a few short sentences, what would you say?
What would others say?
Most importantly, what would God say? 🤔
My mind is drawn yet again to the personality of Daniel.
I was talking about him to my son as I shared the last blog with him – I certainly hope he was listening. 😄
What do we read about Daniel?
What a person he was!
Daniel 6:3-5 NIV
Now Daniel so distinguished himself among the administrators and the satraps by his exceptional qualities that the king planned to set him over the whole kingdom.
4 At this, the administrators and the satraps tried to find grounds for charges against Daniel in his conduct of government affairs, but they were unable to do so. They could find no corruption in him, because he was trustworthy and neither corrupt nor negligent.
5 Finally these men said, “We will never find any basis for charges against this man Daniel unless it has something to do with the law of his God.”
Can that be said of you and me?
For someone to actually say that they can find no basis for a charge against you unless it has to do with God.
Wow!
We actually do have an account of what God said about someone in the Old Testament. Job!
Boy did that man suffer.🤦🏽♀️
Job 1:8 NIV
Then the LORD said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil.”
It’s at this juncture I like to jokingly, but oh so seriously 😅😇 remind God, that I am no Job, so my name needs no mention whatsoever! 😅😂
It is well indeed.
We each have our paths on this side of eternity, through the hills and the valleys.
But aren’t you oh so thankful that you are never alone.
The I AM THAT I AM is always by your side and has promised never ever to leave nor forsake you.
He is in the boat!
