One more day till the end of the month 😱
I can’t believe that we’re literally on the brink of entering December 2023.
Obviously,.. some people have been aching for this time of the year.
Hiiiii to all December borns 😜, it’s finally your turn to celebrate your birthdays.
Happy birthday in advance to you allllll.😅😇
My counsellor numero uno mentioned the verse below in our conversation yesterday and I simply had to look it up – Psalm 32:7
God is our hiding place. He protects us from trouble, and surrounds us with songs of victory. Oh my,…what an encouragement and what a God we serve!
DO YOU KNOW WHO YOUR GOD IS?????
How is God our hiding place???
What does it mean to say God is our hiding place???
This is what I found:
– In the day of trouble, we as believers have a sure hiding place in Christ . Recall that He has overcome the world. (John 16:33)
– We require an attitude of faith and repentance when we seek entrance into God’s hiding place.
– God’s hiding place is where we can find safety and refuge in times of danger.
– He is the One we can go to when no one knows or understands what we’re going through or may I add – they refuse to understand! 😅
– As our hiding place, He can provide protection when people’s assurances fail.
And they shall surely fail. Be trusting of people but not too trusting.
The very person to lift you up today, may be the same person to push you down tomorrow,.. BUT GOD!!!!
He has promised, He will never fail
I will honour Him, I will adore Him
He has promised, He will never fail
His faithfulness is forevermore
His faithfulness is forevermore
Amen and amen!!!!!
By the way, feel free to comment in the comment section.
It’s a pleasure to hear back from you.🤓🤗
God bless you all!!
Now to the passage:
Psalm 32:1-11 NIV –
Blessed is the one
whose transgressions are forgiven,
whose sins are covered.
2 Blessed is the one
whose sin the LORD does not count against them
and in whose spirit is no deceit.
3 When I kept silent,
my bones wasted away
through my groaning all day long.
4 For day and night
your hand was heavy on me;
my strength was sapped
as in the heat of summer.
5 Then I acknowledged my sin to you
and did not cover up my iniquity.
I said, “I will confess
my transgressions to the LORD.”
And you forgave
the guilt of my sin.
6 Therefore let all the faithful pray to you
while you may be found;
surely the rising of the mighty waters
will not reach them.
7 You are my hiding place;
you will protect me from trouble
and surround me with songs of deliverance.
8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will counsel you with my loving eye on you
9 Do not be like the horse or the mule,
which have no understanding
but must be controlled by bit and bridle
or they will not come to you.
10 Many are the woes of the wicked,
but the LORD’s unfailing love
surrounds the one who trusts in him.
11 Rejoice in the LORD and be glad, you righteous;
sing, all you who are upright in heart!
AMEN!!!!
Hide me Oh God in my day of trouble
Amen ooo!
God bless you Gloria dear!
This message reminds me of Psalm 91 which says, “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”
Dwelling in the shadow of the Almighty and abiding in the shelter of the Most High for me means trusting implicitly in the love and power of God, to give us everything we need to do his will and glorify his name.
So yes! “God’s hiding place is where we can find safety and refuge in times of danger.”
Oh wow.
Preach!
God bless you Xcrooooooge! 😅
