Never Alone

Fears,.. something I don’t like having.
To tell you the truth..I was beginning to have one.

The fear — ‘Winter is coming ‘
What is the winter you may ask?
I choose not to say it out loud. It’s as if saying it acknowledges it and I refuse to.

For the last 2 years,..I have entered the new year depressed.

And I can just feel Satan trying to taunt me,..saying that he’ll be back at the opportune time.

Then in the last blog; a song was mentioned I have taken that song and made it my war song.
I listened to a programme and realized I must profess positive things in my life.
I have professed and it is well with my soul in the mighty name of Jesus.

When you pray,.please say a prayer for some of us. Just as you have your battles; I certainly have mine.

I may not be much of a football fan,..but at least I know a few key players and teams especially in the English Premier League. And another thing I know is that the motto for the Liverpool Football Club is this: ‘ You’ll never walk alone’. 😉

Are we aware of this in our Christian walk? 🤔
Are we constantly aware that God is with us? 🤔
I’ve realized that we often tend to forget,.. especially when we’re in a dark spot in life and feel like the whole world is against us.
How different would our response be if we kept this truth in mind. 😇

I was at a Bible study yesterday in which I did a lot of listening. I was sharing my screen (phone on zoom)..so didn’t want to be going on and off,..so ended up being silent. 🙈 But oooh,..I was listening paaa.

This is the verse that caught my attention:
Genesis 28:15 NIV
I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go, and I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.”

This was God speaking to Jacob in the dream he had at Bethel, and we can claim this promise for ourselves. God is always with us. (Remember my son told me this? He repeated it in his interesting prayer last night 🤣🤣🤣)
The same God we worshipped yesterday.
The same God who sent the fourth person in the fiery furnace to Daniel’s three friends.

I just want to encourage you; no matter what you may be going through,..take comfort in the fact that God is with you.
He has promised – I will never leave you nor forsake you so that you say with confidence: ” The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid, what can man do to me?”

So take heart. Keep your eyes on God. He dey for you paaaaa. Call on Him and never ever let that thief deceive you into thinking you’re alone.
YOU ARE NEVER ALONE!!!

He has promised:

Isaiah 43:1-2 NIV

“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.

[2] When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.
